This LED grow light fixture has a stunning operating efficacy of around 2.9 µmol/J, and is built using LED chips with individual efficacies of 3.4 – 3.7 µmol/J. It’s maximum PPF output is an impressive 2596 µmol/s when powered at 960 W (by two ballasts each drawing 480 W). By comparison, a 1000 W HPS lamp (drawing 1070 watts) will typically give an output of 1550 µmol/s PPF.
A very versatile, high-performing, high-efficiency mid-range LED fixture. Lightweight owing to not having an integral driver, it is easy to install. The fixture is made up of two interlocking halves, each having its own power input socket, and it can be hung either as a single interlocked 6-bar fixture or as 2 separate 3-bar fixtures. The 6-bar fixture is ideally suited to cover a growing area of 1.5 m x 1.5 m, whereas 2 separate 3-bar fixtures can cover a growing area up to 25% larger.
Whether hung separately or interlocked, the 2 half-fixtures can be powered by a single LUMii BLACK 600 W Electronic Ballast using the splitter lead provided. Alternatively, each half fixture can be powered by its own LUMii BLACK 600W Electronic Ballast. Using 2 ballasts allows the maximum light output of the fixture/s to be increased by at least 25%.
A single ballast can be mounted on the 6-bar fixture, using brackets provided, but if the fixture is hung as 3-bar fixtures, or if 2 ballasts are used, they must be positioned remotely. The open construction of the fixture/s and the very low heat output assist airflow and heat management. Producing full spectrum light ideal for both growth and bloom, the LUMii BLACK² 720/960 LED will give impressive results.
